Blue Interactive Agency Raises Funds for Israeli Red Cross Organization

Fort Lauderdale, Florida — Not wanting to sit on the sidelines as her friends and family in Israel faced the unprecedented attack from Hamas, Hannah Mason (pictured) reached out to her colleagues at Blue Interactive Agency in South Florida for support. An avid baker, Mason decided to bake brownies for her coworkers in exchange for donations to help support Magen David Adom, a fully-fledged member of the International Red Cross responsible for emergency pre–hospital medical care and blood services for the State of Israel.

“When I first heard about what was going on in Israel, I felt hopeless not knowing what to do to help support the people struggling during a war,” Mason said. “It was then that I realized I could raise money and donate to Israel by baking brownies. It wasn’t just helping Israel out but also giving joy to others through baking something sweet.”

After informing coworkers of her plan, the team at Blue Interactive Agency rallied behind Mason and quickly ordered dozens of brownies to lend their support. Despite the small number of employees at Blue Interactive Agency, the team generated $274 for the cause. Blue Interactive Agency’s CEO Peter Brooke generously matched the donations for a total of $548 donated to the organization.

“I was so overwhelmed with all the support and orders within the minute of my announcement to the team that I felt amazed by how much I got in the end,” Mason says. “The immense support I received made these hard times a little better, feeling how much people wanted to help out.”
